Binderer St Ursula
Binderer St Ursula
Binderer St Ursula Weinkellerei is one of the most modern, innovative wineries in the Pfalz. It has been making wines for German wine lovers at home and abroad for many years, and has also won an award and much acclaim in the UK for its dry, modern style wine, Devil’s Rock.
Stefan Eidt, chief oenologist at Binderer St Ursula ensures that only the finest quality grapes, including Riesling, are used to produce their wines. Wolfgang works with the wine makers to carefully select the best vineyard sites and manage all stages of wine growing from choosing the best pruning methods to assessing the ripeness of the grapes for harvesting. The wines are then produced in their state of the art winery.
St Ursula also has a selection of estate wines including Muller Catoir, Grans Fassian and the sweet wine maker specialist Kurt Darting, all of which have won awards in the International Wine Challenge.
Devil’s Rock (a snip at £4.49) was specially developed with us dry, modern wine lovers in mind.
Devil’s Rock, £4.49, is available at Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Asda, Co-op and Somerfield.
